It's been a strange old year. I returned to the UK from Sweden just after New Year's Day, living in a cramped rental property in Cambridge. My new job saw me working at a breakneck pace on a Playstation Vita game project that my team shipped in August. Going into the summer I desperately needed a break, but launched straight into the super-stressful process of buying a permanent home. I found a wonderful place and now I'm relocated to the fenland, those great, wide flat spaces of England, once inhabited only by boatmen, raiders and holy men. I'd hoped to do more art this year. I have been very busy at late, but I've finally gotten around to putting up my Lily Litvak comic strip. I started work on this some time ago before I'd ever heard of the short comic biography of Litvak by the great Spain Rodriguez. That's a fine work and I highly recommend it. When drawing this strip I managed to involve my late friend Steve Whitaker, the great comics colourist, in the project. He produced his own small strip; a truly lovely piece. You can probably google it...

I've switched to using FTP for uploads and am having more success. No more shaking my fist as dA locks up first my browser then my Mac finder. I was making hard reboots so frequently I was thrashing my hard drive to death. Let's trust this nonsense is way behind us.

I'm having enormous problems uploading stuff today. It's not just that I seem to get stuck processing uploads, but that it seems to seize up my browser and my Mac as well. I have had to hard reboot my computer a dozen times today and I'm somewhat fed up with it all. There's now a backlog waiting to go up, but it will have to hold until I've simmered down.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words about my gallery. I have a lot on right now but I'll try to keep posting as and when I can get stuff scanned.
